Unfortunately not much in Italy happens in terms of pastries to celebrate the epiphany, but luckily our neighbours in France celebrate Epiphany with 'galette des rois'.

Layers of buttery homemade puff pastry, a light almond cream filling and a bespoke ‘fève’ (a ceramic trinket made by our favourite ceramic artist Skye Corewijn).

Whoever is lucky enough to find the fève is crowned King or Queen for the rest of the day, what a dream.

A variant with pear and  chocolate is also available.

They are made and baked to order and 48hours is the preorder lead time - as they are baked on the same day of collection, please come collect only after 10am.
